Michel Südosteuropa 2024 (in German)
About the Book
Michel Southeast Europe 2024
Content:
Moldova, Romania.
Description:
- You will find editorial improvements throughout the whole volume. We have taken a particularly close look at Romanian FDCs from the 1950s. We are now able to report the number of official first-day envelopes per issue. We have also registered considerable price increases. Romania furthermore scores with 16 newly discovered perforation variations. A sheetlet margin printed upside-down is visually spectacular. A third colour shade was found on the 5-bani postage stamp issued in 1879. A feature that is of particular interest to all collectors of motifs: The year of issue 2023 contributes a total of 18 pages of novelties from Romania and Moldova.
- The revision and updating of price quotations was another focal point. Current auction results have shown a change in the value of cancelled Bull’s Eye stamps issued in the first years. Price fluctuations – mostly price increases – are found practically throughout the whole collection area of Romania. They particularly frequently occur among official stamps, postage-due stamps and obligatory tax stamps in the annex to this area.
- This edition contains all novelties recorded in MICHEL Rundschau up to and including No. 5/2024
